Your receipt data stays local

Billable Split stores receipt images, supplier details, line items, job allocations, and edit history in your browser’s IndexedDB storage. The app does not upload this information to us and includes no advertising, behavioral analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party runtime scripts.

Backups

Backups are created on your device and encrypted with AES-256-GCM before download. Your password is never transmitted or stored by Billable Split. We cannot recover a lost backup password.

Licenses

If you buy or verify a license, your browser contacts the Sociobot billing API with the license token. Sociobot and Dodo, the merchant of record, process checkout and related purchase data under their own privacy terms. The token and a cached validity result are stored in localStorage.

Deletion

Use “Delete permanently” on a receipt to remove its source image, allocations, and history from this browser. Clearing site data also removes all local records and the saved license token. Deleted data cannot be recovered unless you created an encrypted backup.
