The service

Billable Split is a local-first utility for recording receipt images, allocating receipt lines, and exporting job-cost evidence. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or bookkeeping advice. You are responsible for reviewing amounts, classifications, and exported records before relying on them.

Free and paid use

The free version stores up to five complete receipts and includes CSV/PDF export, encrypted backup, restoration, and permanent deletion. A $19 one-time license removes the receipt limit on verified devices. Accessibility, data export, backup, and deletion are never paywalled.

Purchase and refunds

Sociobot / Dodo is the merchant of record. Checkout and refunds are handled through the hosted billing service. A refunded, expired, revoked, or wrong-product license may stop unlocking unlimited storage; existing local records and their exports remain accessible.

Your data

You retain ownership of your receipt data. Keep your own encrypted backups. Browser storage can be removed by the browser, device management policy, or user action.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for lost records, inaccurate allocations, missed reimbursements, tax treatment, or indirect damages.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to misrepresent evidence, violate another person’s privacy, or break applicable law.
